Terms of Use & Subscription Agreement

Welcome to Pepper Time. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Pepper Time website, mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using Pepper Time, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. About Pepper Time

Pepper Time is a mental fitness platform designed to help users strengthen skills such as focus, calm, confidence, resilience, courage and emotional wellbeing through short, science-informed daily exercises ("Pepper Reps").

Pepper Time is intended for educational and personal development purposes only.

2. No Medical Advice

Pepper Time is not a medical device, healthcare provider or psychological treatment service.

The content within Pepper Time is intended for educational and self-improvement purposes only and should not be considered medical, psychiatric or psychological advice.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical or mental health concerns.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency or mental health crisis, contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a subscription.

If you are under 18, you may only use Pepper Time with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

​

5. Subscriptions

Pepper Time offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions.

Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store Account Settings.

Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.

6. Free Trials

From time to time Pepper Time may offer free trials or promotional offers.

Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically convert into a paid subscription at the applicable price shown during purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within Pepper Time—including text, graphics, illustrations, videos, animations, audio, logos, software and the Pepper Coach character—is owned by Pepper Time or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Pepper Time for unlawful purposes.

• Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Services.

• Reverse engineer or copy the application.

• Circumvent subscription or payment systems.

• Upload malicious software or harmful code.

9. Availability

We strive to provide reliable access to Pepper Time but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pepper Time shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from the use of the Services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services during the previous twelve months.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Your use of Pepper Time is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Third-Party Services

Pepper Time may use third-party providers such as Apple, payment processors, analytics providers and cloud hosting services.

These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Services unlawfully.

You may stop using Pepper Time at any time.

Termination of your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through Apple.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will always be available on this page with the updated revision date.

Continued use of Pepper Time after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Switzerland, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

16. Apple App Store

If you download Pepper Time through Apple's App Store, the following additional terms apply:

• Apple is not responsible for the Pepper Time application or its content.

• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services.

• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with respect to the application.

• Your use of Pepper Time must comply with Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

Unless otherwise stated, use of the iOS application is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA):
