How to Manifest - 3 Tips for Beginners

When I first heard about manifesting, I wasn’t sure what to think. It sounded a bit “woo-woo”, and I didn’t really understand how it worked.


But the more I learned, the more I realized: manifesting is just aligning your thoughts, beliefs, and actions with what you truly want.


Once I fully embraced it, I manifested some incredible things—including moving from Belgium to Chicago, launching multiple businesses, and raising over $100K for my startup.

1. Choose a Goal That Truly Excites You


Your manifestation goal should feel exciting—big enough to light a fire inside you but still believable enough that you can work toward it.


My Experience:When I decided to move to Chicago, it felt massive. I didn’t have everything figured out, but the thought of living there excited me so much that I was willing to put in the effort to make it happen.


How to Apply This:

1️⃣ Pick a goal that makes you feel alive.

2️⃣ Write it down as if it’s already happening.

3️⃣ Get clear on why this goal matters to you.


Lesson: The more emotionally connected you are to your goal, the more power your manifestation will have.



2. Use Affirmations (The Right Way)


Affirmations are a game-changer in manifesting—but only if you use them correctly.

Most people say things like:


“I want to move to Chicago.”

“I hope I’ll be successful.”


But when you phrase your affirmations like that, they feel far away. Instead, shift your language to already having what you want:

“I love my new home in Chicago!”

“I am a successful entrepreneur with an abundant life.”


My Experience:When I was working toward moving to Chicago, I didn’t just hope for it—I wrote down affirmations like: “I am living in Chicago, exploring new places every weekend.”


Lesson: Your subconscious doesn’t know the difference between reality and belief. If you keep repeating something, your brain starts looking for ways to make it happen.



3. Record Your Affirmations & Listen to Them Daily


One of my favorite manifesting hacks? Recording my affirmations and listening to them every day.

How I Do It:

  • I record myself saying affirmations in the present tense.

  • I play them with binaural beats in the background.

  • I listen to them daily—while getting ready, walking, or even before bed.


Real Example:Right now, I’m manifesting million-dollar months in my business. So I recorded myself saying: “I love that I make a million dollars every single month!” Listening to it daily trains my brain to believe it’s already happening.


Lesson: Your own voice is powerful. Hearing yourself affirm your goals makes them feel real.
